Jason
Picking is a second-generation staff member. His parents worked with the program in the early 1980’s. The Nuhop Mission has influenced Jason since his early childhood and has been a staff member since 1993. Jason has a degree in Outdoor Education from Ohio University. He is currently the Director of Experiential Programming and Co-Director of the summer program. jason@campnuhop.org |

Sandy Parsons is our office manager and the central command of the Nuhop Center. She works with all components of the corporation including finances, scheduling of events and programs, contracts, employment paperwork, and keeping the staff well organized. Jim Machin is our Director of Facilities and Maintenance. He oversees the daily operations of Nuhop’s camp and conference center. Jim attended The Ohio State University. Jim is a seasoned staff member and has recently taken over the management of our rental and religious groups. He also serves as a lead facilitator in our leadership, outdoor education and teacher training programs. jim@campnuhop.org |

Terri Ru Lon is our secretary and camp registrar; she attended Ashland University and works diligently to provide excellent service to staff, parents, and campers. She is the office liason between the Ashland Office and Summer Camp Staff. Her detail and passion for the summer camp program is an asset to all who come in contact with her. Terri Pringle works full time as our Director of Dining Services. Her skills continue to make our food service one of the best in the Mohican Valley area. She is very diligent about keeping track of camper food allergies and special diets. Marge Kinsey works part time at Camp during the year and full time during the summer. She assists Terri in making our food service one of the best in the Mohican Valley area. She has 26 years cooking/catering experience. Marge is the proud mother of one and involves her son in many aspects of Nuhop Programming. |

Chuck Cooper is our Director of Programming & Development. Chuck retired as the Director of Athletics and Students Activities for Wooster City Schools in 2005 and has extensive management experience. Chuck oversees the recruitment and training of staff for The Nuhop Center. He also serves as the Managing Director of our Outdoor Education Program and Co-Directs our Leadership and Team Development Programming for athletic teams and conferences. chuck@thenuhopcenter.com |

Mark
Sommer has been with Camp Nuhop for two decades. He is the Director of Support Services. He is a graduate of Otterbein College with a degree in Art Education and is an elementary Art and Gifted/Talented teacher in Shelby City Schools. Mark has extensive knowledge and experience in the experiential education field. It is to Nuhop’s advantage that Mark has been such an integral part of the program for his tenure. |

Ann
Bell is Co-Director of Summer Programs. She is a graduate of Malone Collegeand teaches special education at Crestview Local Schools. Ann has been a professional in the educational arena for 12 years and has served Nuhop for 17 years. Ann’s leadership and dedication to the mission of Nuhop has enabled Nuhop to continually innovate and serve a wider range of youth.
